Hi.

I just found this thread ("offscreen rendering") in the archive, as I have to do something similar soon: What's the right way to read/write a pbuffer?

Antonio wrote something about the PassiveWindow - is this the way to go? Is there an example somewhere?

Thanks & regards,
Dominik

I need to render into a pbuffer with opensg.
I was wondering if there was any example code
around to do so. I can´t find anythinging
useful in the forum (and now I´m afraid that
I can´t do offscreen renering at all).

Mh... Just seems to work with a PassiveWindow!

you can do it :-) I think Dirk has some example code. My own code uses the RenderTexture class from http://sourceforge.net/projects/gpgpu and has dependencies to glew and qt.
