No really. You get a much more informative call stack, with function
names rather than just addresses in to the OSG-dlls, even without the
source.
I think, if you have the source, you can step through the source of each
function and see which line made what call. However, source might be
included in the .pdb as well. I will check this.
Yup. You need source to see the function. But you get a proper
stack-trace with just the PDB's.
I suggest you investigate using /PDBSTRIPPED. They are only 20-30%
compared to the full PDB, and are still quite useful.
