Well, something has to be varying between the fishes to allow the shader
to have different behaviour. You can either do individual materials
using the same shader, textures etc. but different ParameterChunks, or
you can have different attributes in the fish geometry. Those are the
two options I can see right now. I recommend the material route, as
having multiple geometries is probably going to be more expensive,
depending on how many fishes you're thinking of.

In 2 you would be able to add those chunks to the graph at different
points, but in 1 those two are the options.
