slight jump, does this exist with scons ?. Usually (at least for me) all
the support libs are within one directory. So using

scons add_include_dir=/p/OSG-Support/include \
      jpeg=true                              \
      tif=true
      .
      .

is nicer than 

scons jpeg=/p/OSG-Support tif=/p/OSG-Support ...
