we're looking for a common rendering platform for an european project and there is lots of interest in opensg at ETH and partner universities, but people are unsure about the status and plans of opensg in respect to collada and animation support... * are there any "heavy" users of collada with opensg (i guess, version 2) out there? what are the experiences? what is supported, what is missing? * how do people handle their animations in opensg? i'm using the cal3d wrapper for some student projects and it works nice for a small number of characters. does anybody do crowd animation in opensg? in earlier mails, marcus and dirk talked about the need of time data and update-dependencies, is there any news on this? on a side note: openscenegraph has its own section in the collada forum, perhaps we should also add one when ready: https://collada.org/public_forum/viewforum.php?f=14&sid=44d8551cac7a1b665c8a08e3a78b6f6a cheers, simon ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
