Hi!

I think I got it. Did an own build of OpenSG 1.8 again. That works even
with Sort Last. The binary builds I downloaded didn't.

So far... The results are not yet, what I would expect. It is a bit too
slow for SortFirst (something about 0,xxx FPS). Tried that way before.
But that didn't help that time....

SortFirst is not useable. JPEG Compression don't work. Something is
missing I think. Don't know what.

For Balanced Multi Display and Sort Last only 1 Server is faster than
using 2. I think it should be the other way around, shouldn't it.

greetings

                Marcus

Betreff: [Opensg-users] Segmentation Faults in OpenSG 1.8 related
toClusterWindow

Hi!

My work with OpenSG 1.6 doesn't gave the results I would expect. Don't
know why, but SortFirst makes the rendering slower.

So I tried the same program with OpenSG 1.8. It results in a
segmentation fault. I also trief other programs, which worked before.

Only the progams without any cluster window work. That was the reason,
why I switched back to OpenSG 1.6.

I did a system restart. ldconfig call and restart. recompiled the
programs every time. But no success. They worked before on OpenSG 1.8.
The only thing I have changed, was the installed daily build. Running a
simple client with SortFirst with gdb stops at the libstdc++.so.6

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

                Marcus
