Thanks.... that mean

setBeacon  is like setting a parent  translation node of the setPosition.

If .....   setPostion(Pnt3f(1,1,1))...... Then 1,1,1 is relative translation 
......with respect to .... setBeacon's(5,5,5).
And now if we set beacon to 6,6,6 then still the position of the light with 
respect to beacon will be 1,1,1 but with respect to world coordinate system 
light position is changed.

the beacon determines the coordinate system the light is located in, the
position describes the light's position relative to that coordinate system.

I guess you mean it is a transformation with translation component
(5,5,5). Then the light will be at world coordinates (5,5,5) which
corresponds with the beacon's origin.

The beacon's toWorld matrix is applied to the position.
