Hi All,

just in case you haven't noticed: Carsten Neumann has been a lot more active on
the list lately. That's because since last week he has moved to Louisiana and
is
working as a full-time developer at LITE. He's somewhat settled by now (since
yesterday he's even got a bed! ;), and ready to get rolling.

His main job is to take care of OpenSG, which includes the OpenSG mailing list,
OpenSG 1 patches and fixes, and continuing development of OpenSG 2. He has
worked for me in the past when he was a student, and he has kept up with OpenSG
1 and 2 in the meantime, so he was a perfect candidate for me to hire him as a
caretaker for OpenSG.

That also means that I will reduce my involvement in the user's list a little
bit, at least as far it concerns the daily things like patches and bugs, and
focus more on getting OpenSG 2 out of the door.

So I'd like to say hello to Carsten and ask all of you to be nice to him! :)

Yours

        Dirk
