you are using a blend function that is rendering order dependent (which 
usually gives the best results ;) ). So, for correct transparency you 
would have to render from back to front on the polygon level. OpenSG 
does perform depth sorting for transparent objects, but only on the 
object (Geometry) level.
You can try to use a blend function that is independent of the 
destination color and see if the results are good enough for you.
