I'm not in the office right now so I can't verify it, but here's my $.02:
I wouldn't mess with the beacon for the built-in Navigator. If all you
want to do is move it around, use just
SSM()->getNavigator()->set(Matrix&) (or another set() variant) to change
the position, and the rest should just work.
