it does have the beginnings of one, in Source/Contrib/InventorLoader. it is not
complete by any means of the word, and it uses he actual Inventor library
(which
is available in many Linux distros, but Coin should work, too) to do the
scanning and parsing.
It should be pretty easy to extend if you need something, we just never found
the need for it.
