Gerrit committed a fix earlier, but it might not have made its way to
sourceforge's anonymous cvs servers. If you have that fix and still
encounter problems, I'd appreciate it if you could let us know, so we
can work on correcting them.

hm, looking at the link command, why does it want to link against the
file with the "-s-" in its name if that is not what the command line
tells it to do ?
Just out of curiosity (and I'm aware this is in general not a remotely
acceptable solution) what happens if you rename lib to what the linker
expects ?
