yes, I applied the patch to CVS as well, but it normally takes a bit for 
changes to migrate to the anonymous cvs/show up in the dailybuilds.

hm, would it be possible for you to write the scene as an .osb and send 
it to us (perhaps off-list: carsten_neumann AT gmx DOT net) ?
Or if that is not possible, can you try to disable frustum culling on 
the RenderAction and enable volume drawing to pinpoint which object has 
the incorrect volume? Or if you can think of any other information you 
can provide that would help locating the problem, please let us know. 
All the scenes I've tried so far seem to work fine, which makes it very 
hard for me to locate the problem, so anything you believe could is 
appreciated,
