To Aashish:

I just tried loading a .3ds file on my 64-bit Vista machine with out
success. "Warning: could not read <file path>.3ds; unknown file format"

The Load Library error message occurs in when I have the OSG_LOAD_LIBS var
set to "OSGFileIO" and does not when I set it to "OSGImageFileIO" for
example. The error message reads:

Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Python25\python.exe

R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library
incorrectly.

I am using python to launch the application. I have created an OpenGL
context in python and OSG does not have a problem rendering its a Scenegraph
of lights and geometric objects created by OSGSimpleGeometry.

Though it claims not to load, I do get a message saying that OSGFileIO.dll
is destroyed when I close the application completely. "INFO: destroy
SharedObject OSGFileIO.dll"
