LOL! Well, I wouldn't mind our application being UNIX-only (Linux & OSX)...
specially since we get nearly double performance (fps) on Linux as compared
to Windows (the difference seems to have increased when we switched to
OSG2).
But unfortunately there's still people who want (and, more seriously, only
know how) to use windows, and MSVC still seems the best toolset for that OS.
