hm, yes, but not with very strong reasons ;)
as I mentioned, loading for us would primarily come from collada files
(although nothing is meant to be tied to that of course). Also, not
using an FC makes it (a little) easier to use more complex things than a
std::vector<> to store stuff and lastly since all changes ultimately end
up in the graph, it did not seem crucial to share the data in a cluster.
All not really compelling reasons, and I might change that part, which
would e.g. allow using the field connectors.
