hm, while I think we currently have more pressing problems (website 
etc.) and the project itself has a logo (perhaps not the most exciting 
one, but I don't think it's too terrible either) it may make sense to 
have something specifically for OpenSG 2. We could use that on the 
website pages to make it clearer which version the information belongs to.

I don't really know, but for the use case above it should be easily 
associated with 2.

yes, we can always render it to a pixel based format for uses where svg 
can not be used directly.
