Ooops, didn't notice the change to git repository...

Well you are right; simply updating and running configure with CMake
wasn't updating the compiler flags (quite strange).
Seems it was still reading them from the cache.

Once cloned the git repository, I started from scratch an I got the flag...

I'm not familiar with CMake at all, but am I supposed to clear the
cache and re-set all the paths and configs every time I update?
Am I missing something?
