many thanks for the quick response. I've created a small program, which demonstrates the problem. It creates a plane and seven texture coordinate units with the same values. Now you can switch between using the texture units by pressing 0 to 7. Assigning the texturunits 0, 1, 2, 3 to a texturechunk works fine. But if i assign one of the other textureunits, the result is weird. I see no texture anymore, only the standard material of the plane.
