Transitions/Effects/Layouts don't change on preview video until the
video has been paused and started again.

Bug description:
It becomes difficult to quickly preview a transition or an effect and
decide if it's the right one to use if you have to pause and start the
video again to see how it looks with it applied (if you are already
previewing the video)
