Thumbnails rendered incorrectly when not first frame

Bug description:

Steps to reproduce:
Drag a clip onto the timeline. In one way or another, try to make the clip
not show the first frame as thumbnail. This can be accomplished by, for
instance, resizing it on the left side. If the thumbnail still is visible, you
should now be able to see that the new thumbnail is missing the rounded edges
that clip thumbnails should have.
What should happen: The thumbnails should always have rounded edges.
The problem occurs since the newer thumbnails incorrectly are 720 x 480 (with
my preferences), instead of quarter_ntsc.
Patch attached.
The patch also removes a not needed print statement.
