It be also be useful to see a visual representation of the material within the clip ie: a filmstrip for video and a waveform for audio. I find this feature very useful when using Final Cut but forget buying a mac I'd rather be using THIS on linux. 1) KARMIC KOALA 2) haven't installed this since I upgraded from jaunty, yesterday, and won't until my VLC is safe.
