Now I attached (nearly) the same title directly created in inkscape without imported image. The problem is the same (but the artifact vanished). What I don't understand is that I am doing no magic here and the "oval" titles seem to have an alpha gradient, too.

I created a new title (see attachments) caontaining an image with transparency. It is displayed fine in Inkscape but in the openshot title preview I see a bad artifact and I can neither save nor apply a title from this template. This behavior seems not to occur when I do not use transparent images.
