I now created (and attached) a title from the oval 2 template (which does not exactly have the design I need). It works but also has a similar entry:
style="fill:url(#linearGradient3802);fill-opacity:1;stroke:none" I have the impression that this might really become an issue if users will be allowed to upload titles to a public openshot database. ** Attachment added: "Working alpha channel from oval 2" https://bugs.launchpad.net/openshot/+bug/1059480/+attachment/3368423/+files/Oval_Test.svg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenShot Bugs, which is subscribed to OpenShot Video Editor. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1059480 Title: title with alpha channel picture is not savable Status in OpenShot Video Editor: Won't Fix Bug description: I use openshot 1.4.3 alpha on Ubuntu 11.10. I created a new title (see attachments) caontaining an image with transparency. It is displayed fine in Inkscape but in the openshot title preview I see a bad artifact and I can neither save nor apply a title from this template. This behavior seems not to occur when I do not use transparent images.
