I think it's is the section in the <rect> element that is important. In your original files you had the url part in this section, now you correctly have a colour.
The line that you mention in you r new file with the url part is within the <path> element. Ideally we need to publish some kind of spec on how to create title files, but we don't have one! The code was written to parse the initial set of title files that were included in OpenShot and it just so happens it has worked with every other file added so far. But any unexpected elements or content in svg files will result in an error at the moment. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenShot Bugs, which is subscribed to OpenShot Video Editor. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1059480 Title: title with alpha channel picture is not savable Status in OpenShot Video Editor: Won't Fix Bug description: I use openshot 1.4.3 alpha on Ubuntu 11.10. I created a new title (see attachments) caontaining an image with transparency. It is displayed fine in Inkscape but in the openshot title preview I see a bad artifact and I can neither save nor apply a title from this template. This behavior seems not to occur when I do not use transparent images.
