Agreed - DeVeDe reliably does the same (incorrect) behavior. Both OpenShot and DeVeDe seem to use a simplified folder/save dialogue box. What I mean is that it displays a simplified list unless you click "Other..." and then it displays the normal folder/save dialogue. Andy, do you know what package handles these two dialogues? I'm trying to file a bug report upstream to Ubuntu, but they want a specific package name. I suspect it's a Gnome issue, but again, I don't know exactly what to file it against. Any suggestions?

Start OSVE, load video tracks. 2. Click on save button, enter name, select video type, select desired target directory. Click save button. 3. Look in to that directory. Do you see project file? I didn't, but found it in in my home (which is the defaultdir to OSVE). 4 Try to save as, select the the same target directory (=repeat it). OSVE reports "File already exists" - but in the default (home), not in selected dir. The result - I was not able to save project in another dir than my home dir (= default dir).
