Hi, Could you do that : https://answers.launchpad.net/openshot/+faq/2197
Could you run again Openshot in a console, do the same things and put here the output even the best will be to use gdb (see here for having more informations how to use gdb : http://openshotusers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=180) You have a bad version of MLT (in fact all the serie 0.7.x), our actual Video framework which contains a lot of bugs. Could you update this one at the last 0.8.8 but unfortunately, I don't know on Fedora the process to help you in this task. Thanks. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenShot Bugs, which is subscribed to OpenShot Video Editor. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1103021 Title: openshot crashes often using the preview pane Status in OpenShot Video Editor: New Bug description: After having loaded a project with OpenShot video editor 1.4.3 (with tens of clips on the timeline) I tried to see the preview (click on play button in the left pane) and OpenShot crashed (to be precise python 2.7 crashed with segmentation fault). This is a frequent crash with OpenShot, now that the project has become bigger, but the action that triggers such crash is random, however ofter connected to the preview pane. Reason for crash (from automatic bug reporting tool): Process /usr/bin/python2.7 was killed by signal 11 (SIGSEGV).
