Commenting on my comment: To pad the filenames with leading zeros, fix the File Name template at the top of the dialog box. For example to get all the files to appear in order in a directory listing (or in geeqie, or another program) in my example above, use

I have tried this with both 1280x720 material and 640x480 material. The default behaviour should be to use the original resolution, or perhaps the resolution of the current video profile.
