Title:
Render consistently causing core dump segmentation faults
Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
New
Bug description:
UbuntuStudio 12.10, 64 Bit Version.
Openshot 1.4.3
Installed via the Repository.
I am having a consistent rendering crash when trying to export a short video.
It is of a fairly high resolution, with clips at 1080p @ 24p.
To try and see where in the workflow it is crashing, I tried using still
frame export, which gave me a frame number. (8952). Looking at that frame, is
almost right at the end of the video. There is just a transition between two
images. Thinking reading the images were correct, I tried saving them as a
stripped down JPG, then a PNG to find the same problem.
Rendering has been attempted with libx264, and oggtheora.
Creating a new scene with the files at the point of the timeline that
has the crash occur will have them render correctly.
Launching Openshot from the commandline, I get this
[wav @ 0xb56aaa0] max_analyze_duration reached
[wav @ 0xbd42480] max_analyze_duration reached
[wav @ 0xa4906a00] max_analyze_duration reached
[wav @ 0xa490a000] max_analyze_duration reached
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
The segmentation Fault occurs during the crash. the rest seems to be on
opening the .osp scene.
Is there a more detailed logging file I could supply somewhere to help
and diagnose what is wrong? I'd really love to finish rendering the
project file.
