Just installed 0.9.0(Latest), then 0.7.8(refferenced) from source and neither of them worked. Sorry for ressing a thread from 2 years ago, but it's still a major issue.

In Kdenlive, rendering is broken and there is very buggy behavior in general like random frame scrambles and wrong thumbnails for video strips. Rendering profiles are showing as not supported that are actually supported by the installed ffmpeg packages. Openshot has also exhibited some strange behavior because of this, although i don't use it much so i haven't tested much further.
