My machine has 6GB RAM + 2GB Swap. I tried creating an Mpeg4 video from 3 dv files, 1GB in size each.
My machine became unresponsive and ran out of memory. So I close the app and reopen to fix it, but the process doesn't stop. Realized this after I completely ran out of memory and computer froze. Checked it out, indeed the process stays open and holds a lot of memory, so I had a long video in memory like 7 times. 64bit Ubuntu 14.04 Installed through Software Center OpenShot Version1.4.3 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/openshot/+bug/1390634/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~openshot.bugs Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~openshot.bugs More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
