Actually, I'm still having problems, even with uncorrupted files...my computer crashes part way through....for a while I was just incorporating the new mpeg into the video, which seemed to get me a minute more, but the last time I did this I only got about six seconds more time. Just having Openshot open, without trying to process, uses about half my computer memory, and 22% of my CPU capacity. The Openshot file for the video is about 114 kb.

It's about an eight minute video. It is not unusual to have Open Shot crash, but this crash makes it impossible to export a video, which is very annoying! Not sure if I'm 64 or 32 bit.
