There is a Vivid PPA for Openshot 2.0, there will not be one for 1.4.3.

I'm on ubuntu 15.04 Vivid Vervet 64-bit
Installing Openshot with apt by adding the ppa:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:openshot.developers/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update
Gives the following error:
W: Failed to fetch
http://ppa.launchpad.net/openshot.developers/ppa/ubuntu/dists/vivid/main/binary-amd64/Packages
404 Not Found
W: Failed to fetch
http://ppa.launchpad.net/openshot.developers/ppa/ubuntu/dists/vivid/main/binary-i386/Packages
404 Not Found
E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old
ones used instead.
