For instance, there is another ppa maintained here with MLT, ffmpeg, frei0r etc:
https://launchpad.net/~sunab/+archive/ppa This is for Kdenlive 0.7.6, the most recent release. It would make things easier for everyone if we were able to share these packages, if they are suitable. You can't install Kdenlive/Openshot side by side at the moment - if they shared the same common packages it would at least solve that.
