Confirmed here... seems to be some kind of gtk main loop issue. I installed openshot from the 9.10 dependencies package

I just upgraded to Ubuntu 9.10 3 bit and OpenShot will start, but nothing in the interface is clickable. After a few seconds, the entire window turns gray and I have to force quit. I tried uninstalling all the dependencies and the application and then reinstalling all the dependencies and the application, but the problem remains. All installations are done from the .deb's.
