Alright. CORRECTLY upgrading fully to Openshot 1.0 worked for me. This was a real problem for previous versions of the program i tried on my machines. It also was a problem after i did not install the new openshot correctly. I had the problem where OS wouldn't start due to python binding, so to fix the problems i installed the dependencies with deb installers, which opened the program but i still had the old problem. When i went back, uninstalled Openshot, python-mlt, all other mlt packages/libraries(only worked when i also removed these), then reinstalled with ppa, everything was golden. I'm almost completely linux. Once i either can get used to blender or lightwave CORE is release for linux, i'll have no reason to use anything else. See thats what people like you do. You stop the need for people to buy into bad licensing by offering better free stuff.
so for me the new openshot cleared up this problem for me. -- app exits when exporting video, file made but with no data https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/505601 You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenShot Developers, which is subscribed to OpenShot Video Editor.
