Hello everyone! More good news: OpenShot has been uploaded to Debian Unstable! It is currently waiting in the "New Package Queue": http://ftp-master.debian.org/new.html
In the next few days, it should be processed and show up in Debian Unstable! On a different note, I was able to integrate the changes that Dan suggested, and this should help the CPU performance, as well as solve the disappearing video after a few seconds and resizing the screen. Since these are just bug fixes, we'll be able to update our Ubuntu and Debian versions soon.
