I was not able to reproduce this using your steps. The only time I've seen this happen is when opening a much older .OSP file from before version 1.0. Could you please attach your .OSP file (in ascii format... which can be set in the preferences). Also, can you attach an example mp4 file that you are using?

After I loaded later the saved project, everything was OK, except for the slider on the timeline, which does not move forwards during previewing the video. If I click on the timeline, the slider also doesn't show there, as it did before (or in a new project). It moves only if I drag it with mouse.
