Can you please create the simplest example project you can think of, and then post both the images you use, and the following file: /home/YOURUSER/.openshot/sequence.mlt. Note, you will need to grab the sequence.mlt file after you have hit the "Play" button, so it contains the flashes. Then zip up those files, and attach it to this bug report. I should be able to reproduce the problem with that info... and hopefully find a fix.
