I think it would be better to write a tool that converts various other non-linear video editor file formats to OpenShot's file format. The tool could be run from within OpenShot or from the command line. This would allow the tool to be maintained relatively independently of OpenShot. It would also allow it to be tested independently.
- kdenlive - cinerlerra - kino - etc. OpenShot would simply run the tool to import the video. This way you wouldn't have to import it as a clip; you would get all the transitions, separate files, and so forth as tracks in OpenShot. -- wishlist - import of kdenlive project files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/439465 You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenShot Developers, which is subscribed to OpenShot Video Editor. Status in KDE Non-Linear Video Editor: New Status in OpenShot Video Editor: Confirmed Status in OpenShot Video Editor trunk series: Confirmed Status in PiTiVi , Non-linear video editor: New Bug description: Pitivi, and openshot kdenlive are three non-linear editor, two of them even use the same framework (MLT). Being useful software for the same purpose (video editing) should use a common project file format. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
