Just a quick suggestion although this issue may be closed. LEFT and RIGHT arrows move back and forwards one frame. I find it intuitive to use LEFT and RIGHT with ALT- or CTRL- to move larger distances, e.g. 10 frames or 1 second.
Does anyone else find this intuitive/useful? -- Hints on buttons for stepping in the timeline https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/418917 You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenShot Developers, which is subscribed to OpenShot Video Editor. Status in OpenShot Video Editor: Fix Released Bug description: Several buttons unders the preview window, correspond with certain keymappings: - Search backwards = 'J' - Search forwards = 'L' - Previous marker = <arrow up> - Next marker = <arrow down> For the user, it is helpful for learning the app, if these keymappings are displayed as a hint. The hints on the buttons is already there, and could be expanded by naming those shortcuts. Also (maybe this should be a differrent bug), there seems to be no keyboard shortcut for going to the beginning or the end of the clip. When implemented, Ctrl-Home and Ctrl-End seems to be logical. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
