Maybe clips should include a simple symbol in the left and right parts like ascending and descending arrows to point that the clip includes a fadein/fadeout effect without the need of going to the clip properties. I'm attaching a example screenshot of the "non disturbing" but "very helpful/informative" symbol I'm talking about.
