the effects for the video clips themselves are the ones that I've been talking about. the ones that change the color of the video, sepia, monotone, charcoal and all those effects. they wouldn't work before. I did get the frei0r-plugins and those all worked fine after that. I still have the problem stated in my last comment though.

I am running Openshot 1.1.3 I try and do anything with the video effects and it closes without a warning. And recently it closes when I try to play any video that I put on the timeline.
