Tonight I filed our "sync request" for OpenShot 1.4.0-1 from Debian to Ubuntu 11.10: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openshot/+bug/859338. We have already been approved for a feature freeze exception, so it looks like this is going to happen in time for the Oct 13th release of Ubuntu 11.10. Click on the bug report to follow along. =)
