Ok, thanks for this. I turned my scanner off and downloaded the source ok, so I have a copy now.
However, I am infected with a virus called OpenSim!! The project looks great and is very addictive, so I must be infected :-) Regards, Olli _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Impalah Sent: 23 January 2009 15:50 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Opensim-dev] Virus alerts when downloading source from SVN Forget the warnings or add the opensim folder to the .exceptions". It isn't for the source code but for the included libraries: any library that "opens" a tcp/udp socket is treated as a virus. I had the same problem three weeks ago, and after doing a simple test creating a http .NET server it was detected as a virus so... maybe the "heuristic algorythms" used for the antivirus are too much "heuristic". Oh... and some PHP extensions and Apache modules are "virus" too, even some original printer drivers.
