Hi everyone, The current version of OpenSim's libomv (r2362) has a bug in it's big endian conversion methods that stops big endian machines from running OpenSim. A patch was already sent to libomv and applied in r2439 successfully. I attempted to check if an update to that revision was possible, but ended up spending an entire afternoon solving the new bugs related to this update. Most of them happened because of the HttpServer update.
Since I think most of the community would rather not see an update that's going to mess things up more then it fixes, I wanted to suggest patching the current version with the big endian fix for now, until we feel we are ready (and have a good reason) to face the new libomv changes. This creates a small confusion though, as OpenMetaverse.dll in OpenSim will no longer be the original one compiled. I would like some thoughts on this from everyone.
