I haven't looked at the patch since I just read this list. I read the above and wonder what is meant by "sports an exception dump" as if it means it handles the exception or that it breaks when Melanie tried it. As for the cautionary note, well, even the opensim repository has such cautionary usage note, but still many use it. Hmm.
