Not to get off track, but as an old Drupal hack, who has also worked on Joomla sites, I find Drupal much more user and administrator friendly than Joomla, but everyone has different experiences.
As to the the d4os project, I'm very interested in participating when I get a chance and look forward to following this project closely.
