This is a bit like the old question, if a tree falls in the woods and no one heard it...
There are scripts running that represent the state of the region so even though there may be no agents present it's not clear you could/should just shut it down. (was [Opensim-commits] [OpenSim Git Master Repository] master branch updated. r/12464]) Interactive Region Creation sounds like a great concept. Is there any possibility of allowing "inactive" (or idle) regions to shut down and not consume any resources as well? > Melanie, could you explain in greater detail what you're doing here? > How is region creation going to change? Thanks, -- justincc - Log ----------------------------------------------------------------- commit dcf18689b9ab29d4ceb2348bb56fc1f77a7a8912 Author: Melanie <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Date: Tue Mar 23 02:05:56 2010 +0000 First stage of the new interactive region creation. This will allow creation of a region and joining it to an existing estate or creating a new estate, as well as creating an estate owner if in standalone, and assigning estate owners. In Grid mode, existing users must be used. MySQL ONLY!!!! so far, as I can't develop or test for either SQLite or MSSQL. _______________________________________________ Opensim-dev mailing list [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/opensim-dev
