I don't know if OSGrid is running Simian or not, but the map tiles
generated do not render correctly. It's like the floater downloads the
wrong size of map textures and slaps them on the screen anyway.
Experienced using code based on Phoenix.

There is a map-service url in simian/robust now, so you can point the
mapviewer to a linden-compatible tile-map-server. As far as i know only
simiangrid and the tilemap renderer in hwios create linden-compatible tiles
for the sl-viewer 2 map atm.

I believe this is already noted somewhere on mantis, but I could not
find an entry just now on a quick search.
As I am sure you are aware the map doe snot show up when using Viewer
2 with OpenSim, and some sort of generic/LL served map tiles show instead.
Is this something that potentially can be fixed or is it something
hard wired into the viewer? I can put a new entry on Mantis if you
would prefer that.
